Sawadee Kha! I’m about to go to Thailand and I’m quite excited about my trip. Already got the flight to Bangkok and from there we’ll go explore around Phuket, I found your great site on Google and it seems that you know a lot about the land of smiles. Would you please give me a hint where to stay in Thailand? I’ve read there are a couple of fantastic hotels near Silom and the airport… Thank you in advance!

Have just come back from a fantastic holiday to Pattaya, stayed at West of Eden in the northeast part which is less hetic than southerly areas, superior resort and good beaches near Pattaya like at Koh Larn. We rented a minibike for only 300 baht per day and would drive around the entire region. So many tremendous localises to eat, our preferred spot was Thai Food Heaven which had the most terrific view over the beach, the staff was rather nice and the food so delicious, we would go for sunrise cocktails. My girlfriend and I had a brilliant time in Pattaya City and will be back for New Year.
