    Must be a summer birdhouse for the rich birds to vacation to. Certainly no bird would go near that thing in the rain or snow. Or is this not a functional birdhouse and just for looks? As a feeder you would be left with a horible mess under it because it has nothing to catch the eaten husks from the seeds.

    Thanks for posting this. I’m always getting bummed that I don’t have a yard or even a balcony to put things out for the animals and I’ve been thinking of making things that I can just take to the woods and hang but many of the things I’ve thought of could end up being garbage on the ground.
